Speculations are implying that "Steven Universe" is going to end after "Gem Harvest." There are also claims that the series will transform from being childish to more adult type of scenarios.
According to the Showrunner Rebecca Sugar, "Steven Universe" Season 4 will tackle the scenario of, "All people deserving of love." Sugar said that the series will feature more about angle of having Steven surrounded by powerful female presence like Amethyst, Garnet and Pearl. Also, there are arguments about getting it done, but she always gets her way, as noted in one of the reports.
"Steven Universe" Season 4 Episode 8 and 9 will feature scenes in tune with Thanksgiving and it's going to run for about 22 minutes. However, some are speculating this could be the end of the series.

Sugar added that the show is not for kid's ages two to eleven anymore as Steven struggles with puberty . But, it will also attract the LGBT community as Pearl and Garnet showed same feelings with each other. It is implied that "Steven Universe" Season 4 is integrating more mature scenes and complex social issues and hurdles.

"Steven Universe" Season 4 would also depict Gem Harvest. It is anticipated that tensions will rise between Peridot and Lapis regarding growing their own vegetables in a barn like corn and pumpkin,Polygon noted. Sugar also related details about her life, her confusion and the things that she could not express nor explain. "Steven Universe" Season 4 will air this coming November.
