Fans can relive the horror of Jason Voorhees as "Friday the 13th: The Game" is set to be released this year. Game developers recently dished out details regarding the iconic horror franchise. Highlight perhaps is the fact that fans get to play the horrific killer, Jason Voorhees!
Jason Voorhees Stalks The Grounds Of Crystal Lake
Barely two months left before 2016 ends and more details are being released about the multiplayer "Friday the 13th: The Game." Game creator Wes Keltner sat down with CharminSoft Gaming and revealed juicy details about the game installment. Developed by Gun Media and Ill Fonic, "Friday the 13th: The Game" was modeled after actor Kane Hodder, according to reports. The details were intricately followed down to a millimeter. In fact, even his mask holes were followed by detail.
Each game can be played with one playing as Jason Voorhes and the rest as any of the 10 camp counselors running for their lives. "Friday the 13th: The Game" ultimate goal is to outsmart and escape the legendary killer as they trample the grounds of Crystal Lake. "While Jason can be an immensely daunting, seemingly unstoppable force, he is able to be brought down with an 'epic' win condition," the developers further explained on its Kickstarter page. "It'll be difficult, require some teamwork, and perhaps a bit of ingenuity, but we'll be giving you the tools and opportunities to realize the biggest win in horror gaming."

Jason Voorhes: A Force To Reckon
If you want to beat Jason Voorhes, then you have to know his different weapons and abilities. Just like in the movies, Jason can either use a pitchfork or sport an ax arm just. More so, players can unlock another version of Jason as they go along. Players of "Friday the 13th: The Game" can also earn XP universally, regardless if you want to maintain your counselor character. Lastly, Jason will have four abilities: sense, shift, morph and rage.
These abilities were requested by fans at last minute however Gun Media was able to grant the request within 40 days.
