From this point on, players won't have to resort to simple brawn to put some hurt on the enemies of "Sleeping Dogs."
Enter the DZS-90, a super car complete with roof mounted machine guns and an EMP. Wei Shen's pretty much Kato, and with the DZS-90 standing in for Black Beauty, all that's missing for players to re-enact some "Green Hornet" style shenanigans is an out of shape hero in the vein of Seth Rogen to take all the credit.
The new car comes courtesy of "Sleeping Dogs" Wheels of Fury DLC, now available for the game on all platforms. Beyond the car, the pack adds five new story missions, in which Wei Shen takes the fight to the drug smuggling 18K gang. Gamers can go grab the Fast and Furious-esque pack for 320 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360, or $3.99 on all other platforms.
The Wheels of Fury pack will be joined by four other packs, including:
- the leaked Year of the Snake
- Movie Masters Pack, giving Shen three new outfits
- Law Enforcer Pack, which gives Shen plenty of po-po paraphenilia
- Monkey King Pack, inspired by the novel Journey to the West. It offers its own vehicle and gives Shen a two-handed staff.
Neither Square Enix or United Front has offered up official dates for the remaining bits of DLC, but they should all arrive before the end of March.
