"Supergirl" might have a crossover with another DC show besides "The Flash," "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow." Reports have been going around that the female superhero might be working with the DC characters in "Gotham" to reduce the crimes in the corrupt city. Supergirl can always bump into anyone in the DC universe so the crossover is highly possible though the creators of the series have not yet confirmed it.
In the first season of the hit series, Melissa Benoist worked with Grant Gustin for a crossover with "The Flash." Crossovers with more DC superhero shows can be expected in "Supergirl" season 2. Stronger villains are starting to come out so the superheroes need to work together to keep everyone safe. It is speculated that the team might soon contact Batman to help them in their crime fighting activities.
Though possible, seeing Supergirl and the Dark Knight on television together might not happen right away as hinted by Executive Producer Ali Adler. He dismissed the speculation of another crossover for this season. They already planned many crossovers for this season so Batman is unlikely to appear in "Supergirl" season 2. Adler believed that fans would already be satisfied to see the Krypton-born superhero Superman this season in addition to the team up of Kara aka Alex with the characters of "The Flash," "Arrow" and "The Legends of Tomorrow."
"I feel like we have our hands full with the crossover we're shooting right now. I think people will be satisfied with how much crossover they're getting this season," the executive producer stated as per TVLine. He also added that DC has a very beautiful history so borrowing characters is not a problem. Batman can always appear in "Supergirl" or any DC show. Meanwhile, "Supergirl" season 2 will premiere on Monday, Oct. 10 on The CW.
