'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Release Date, Latest News & Update: More Details on Leaked Amazon Game Features; Game Already in QA Stage

Despite Amazon's accidental leak of the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" release date, it seems that BioWare is still staying coy about it. There has been no official statement from the studio, despite a listing for a book titled "The Art Of Mass Effect: Andromeda" on Amazon that reveals its arrival for March 21, 2017.

We recently reported that the book is an accompanying comic book for the highly anticipated action RPG third-person shooter video game from BioWare. The comic book goes on sale on March 21, 2017, and is said to be released on the same day as BioWare's latest "Mass Effect: Andromeda." This implies that the game is arriving on the same day as well.

The creation of the comic book is a result of the many stories the developers have created that the game couldn't all accommodate. According to "Mass Effect: Andromeda" Creative Director Mac Walters, the comic book will aid gamers in better understanding the reasons behind why some characters are the way they are. If the Amazon listing says that the comic book will be released alongside the game, then the game will most likely arrive on March 21 as well.

The new "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will enable gamers to customize their characters in the game, something that players have been looking forward to for some time now. According to Gaming Bolt, the studio is seemingly in its QA stage, as one of BioWare's developers has taken to Twitter to hint about fixing bugs. Check out his status below.

If BioWare is indeed in the QA stage of developing "Mass Effect: Andromeda," then it makes sense that they're meeting the March 21 deadline. Keep checking back for the latest on "Mass Effect: Andromeda," which is slated to arrive during the first quarter of 2017.
