“Pokemon Go” players continue to find ways to strengthen their favorite critters and all that was partly addressed with the new ‘Buddy System’ introduced by Niantic recently. With the new feature, players can now earn more candy to aid them in finding rare Pokemon.
With one side of “Pokemon Go” gameplay covered, the attention now shifts to stardust which players would need to powerup their Pokemon character roster. Unlike candies, stardust may be hard to come by though collecting it is not limited to just one character.
There are various ways to go about it, not to mention the amount of stardust on “Pokemon Go”, something mentioned in a previous post. The thing with stardust is that it is not something players can buy from the store, meaning it can only be garnered through continuous hunting and other common things done on “Pokemon Go”.
That includes hatching eggs where “Pokemon Go” players can get as much as 2,000 stardust when hatching 10 KM eggs. This seems to be the easiest way to rack stardust up though there are other bolder ways for games.
Can you take over a gym?
For the bold “Pokemon Go” players who have embarked on gym battles, many may have already discovered that this is another route they can do. Players who successfully take over gyms can put their Pokemon to work and collect PokeCoins and Stardust at 21-hour intervals.
The importance of PokeCoins
As mentioned previously, PokeCoins can be collected on “Pokemon Go” when taking over gyms. Using the new Buddy System, covering a certain distance like 2.5 kilometers can help rack in about 1,200 stardust.
Using lures (attainable through 100 PokeCoins) can be ideal too though it returns a much lower stardust count on “Pokemon Go” (6 stardust for each PokeCoin).
Incubators can also rack in some stardust on “Pokemon Go” after purchase. About 2,000 stardust can be attained when hatching 10-kilometer eggs on it.
