Robin Hood's character is back in the fairy tale story of "Once Upon A Time" Season 6. As for more details regarding his return, that remains unsettled as well.
Sean Maguire's character as Robin Hood met a gruesome event that inevitably happened in Season 5 of "Once Upon A Time" fairytale story. However, there are notions that he will make more appearances for "Once Upon A Time" Season 6. His role as Robin Hood will not be like a resurrection from the dead, but it is presumed to be more promising and enthralling.
According to reports Sean said "I feel that if we were to have explored some of the stuff that was alluded to when I was there, I don't know how much we could cover in a flashback or something like that." With that in mind, it is projected that more challenging events await "Once Upon A Time" Season 6.

Executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis are still mum about the details of his comeback. "We're thrilled to have Sean back for this story arc and are excited for the audience to see what we have planned, which in the wake of his character's heartbreaking demise, is something we hope is unexpected and surprising," both told EW.

"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 story is also anticipated to center on Regina who loved and lost love. And how she handled the heartbreak and dealt with the consequences is projected to take center stage as well. Moreover, Horowitz and Kitsis assured the fans that in this season Regina will not fall in love with another man.
While on the subject of Regina, there are theories that Robin Hood might become her comfort in times of desperation.And it's already made certain that the wicked queen is also back in "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 and will absolutely disseminate her magic spell for people living in Storybrooke.
