Those who are planning to buy a MacBook Pro, should hold their urge for a little longer as Apple is coming up with a brand new MacBook Pro 2016 Retina by the end of October. Insider sources have revealed that it is worth the wait as the product is going to catch peoples' imagination.
The Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to sport Intel processors and optional heavy-duty AMD Polaris graphics processor. Apple's flagship 13-inch and 15-inch laptops are about to get a massive upgrade. It's rumored thinner design will perfectly suit the needs of the Aristotelian traveler, writes Australian Business Traveller.
However, the most-extraordinary feature that will grace the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 has to be the narrow touch-sensitive display that is replacing the top row function keys. The concept mockups of the device have been shared by designer Martin Hajek.
The OLED tech-powered "dynamic function strip" on the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 Retina will act as a secondary screen presenting the shortcut functions as well as app-based information to suit any app the user is using. New buttons will be added through software updates from individual apps and Apple.
Fans expect the fingerprint sensor in the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 that can unlock the device via a tap, similar to the TouchID tech used in iPhones and iPads. The USB Type-C sockets will allow users to connect their desktop monitor, charge the upgraded battery and also help in rapid data transfer.
Another feature that is unlikely to be included now but is highly-anticipated is the inclusion of a SIM card slot to make the device less-dependent on Wi-Fi. In that case, frequent flyers can take their Apple MacBook Pro 2016 anywhere if they have access to 4G/3G data networks. As per iTech Post, the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 Retina is rumored to be unveiled on Oct. 24 but nothing is confirmed yet.
