Ellie, Alec Have New Mission! Final Chapter Will Bid Emotional Farewell!
Moreover, "Broadchurch" Season 3's storyline remains under wraps and considered as one of ITV's top secrets. Radio Times reported that Ellie Miller and Alec Hardy will have a new case to solve concerning a serious sexual assault and the inspection of the Dorset community. Aside from that, the TV series will also focus on the effects of the issue on everyone involved and the damage it will cause to many friendships and relationships.
Meanwhile, the show's executive producer revealed that the coming "Broadchurch" Season 3 will be the final installment of the program. "This is the final chapter of Broadchurch. We have one last story to tell, featuring both familiar faces and new characters," writer Chris Chibnall said. "I hope it's a compelling and emotional farewell to a world and show that means so much to me." ITV has yet to announce the release date of "Broadchurch" Season 3, but it is expected to be out in early 2017.
