Season 3 earned 1.89 million viewers lower than Season 1 which ranged up to 5.16 million of viewers and 2.05 million viewers for Season 2.

Despite these controversies, "Girl Meets World" protagonist Rowan Blanchard is still hopeful that Disney Channel will still renew for its fourth season. However, that remains unverified.

Moreover, "Girl Meets World" Season 3 also features the story of Shea and Josh's romance. A cis hetero man who falls in love with a trans woman, making a great difference in this world. Their romance was never a secret to the family which can sparked some emotions to heart of the viewers as per Yahoo.
