Fans have been waiting for a very long time for concrete details about the upcoming sequel of the fighting video game, "Injustice: Gods Among Us." Although game developer NetherRealm Studios has yet to provide solid information regarding the "Injustice 2" release date, certain details about the game have slowly emerged all over the Internet. Now, new reports have surfaced after one of the people working on the second installment revealed some important information about the development of "Injustice 2."
During an interview with Game Reactor, the marketing manager of NetherRealm Studios Brian Goodman revealed to the public that "Injustice 2" will have a different story and gameplay compared to its predecessor. According to him, the goal is to make sure fans will play the sequel wanting for more, which in return will give the game developer the opportunity to come up with several story modes. Goodman also said that the company will include new single and multiplayer modes to the upcoming game to make sure it improves gaming experience.
"We're going to have a number of single-player modes; we're really trying to round out our offerings for people who enjoy our games as single players," Goodman said of the "Injustice 2" game. "Of course, a whole suite of online modes as well, both competitive and potentially some co-operative modes as well."
Many fans were not really thrilled when NetherRealm Studios announce that the upcoming "Injustice 2" will include a new gear system; however, the company said that the new feature will work will to the players' advantage. Apparently, the idea in creating these modes is to make sure players have the opportunity to make the characters stronger than their base stats.
Meanwhile, fans are excited when reports came out suggesting that several more DC characters are added to the "Injustice 2" line up including John Constantine, Darkseid, Red Hood, Captain Cold, Swamp Thing and many more. "Injustice 2" is said to come out in March 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There are also speculations suggesting that an "Injustice 2" mobile version will soon arrive for Android and iOS devices.
