As formerly reported by GamenGuide, there are rumors that "Winds of Winter" was not prioritized by George RR Martin, but GRMM has neither said nor affirmed that he is not prioritizing the sequel of "A Song of Ice and Fire," but his present ordeals is presumed to affect his overall plan and writing schedules.
As noted by the same post, it remains uncertain as to when and how the storyline would unfold for "Winds of Winter." For the avid followers, the wait might be longer since GRRM has not picked up his magic pen to write the epic plots for the sequel of "A Song of Ice and Fire."
