Gears of War: Judgment has leaked onto the internet and can be downloaded on torrent sites as we speak.
Judgment, a prequel to the first three Gears of War games, will be in stores on March 19th, one month from today. Though it hasn't been confirmed, Eurogamer suggests that the version available online is the "complete" retail build.
Be careful, though, aspiring pirates: Microsoft says they're already looking for players who have downloaded the game on Xbox Live and will permenantly ban any accounts found playing without permission. "We are aware of isolated cases in which 'Gears of War: Judgment' content has been propped on the Web and are working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation immediately," Microsoft told multiple outlets.
Microsoft has a history of banning players who play leaked versions of unreleased games, including Gears of War 3. GoW 3 found its way online more than two months before it's September 2011 release date.
Coincidentially, publisher Epic Games released a trailer promoting Gear of War: Judgment's new multiplayer offerings.
