The Infamy, the first episode for Assassin's Creed 3's Tyranny of King Washington DLC is now up for grabs for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, so Ubisoft has put out a brand new trailer to set the stage for the content's alternate history narrative.
King Washington explores what Connor's story would play out if, when the American army defeated the British, George Washington took the victory as an opportunity to crown himself King of the United States. Since it's an Assassin's Creed story, it looks like Washington's motivations have been influenced by a piece of eden.
In this version of the story, Connor was never involved with the Assassins or the war: Ratonhnhaké:ton, "must endure new trials, acquiring the skills he'll need to take down a possessed Washington and win freedom for his land once and for all," according to Ubisoft.
Gamers can grab The Infamy today for 800 Microsoft Points, $9.99, or as part of the Assassin's Creed III season pass. All Tyranny of King Washington episodes will be coming to the Wii U, though no release date has been set.
Episodes to follow are The Betrayal, arriving in March, and The Redemption, hits in April.
