There is awesome news for Marvel fans who have been terrified of the possibility that Danny Rand's series will never be made. The "Iron Fist" air date has finally been announced, and it will be a short wait. But is it possible that the show has a little surprise this March? Is Jon Bernthal set to appear as The Punisher in Finn Jones' Netflix series?
'Iron Fist' Air Date Finally Announced! Will Jon Bernthal's The Punisher Join Finn Jones' Danny Rand?
It's only been a few days since the first season of "Luke Cage" (prepare for Season 2!) premiered on Netflix, but his buddy Danny Rand is already hot on Power Man's heels. The "Iron Fist" air date was announced with an amazing photo of Finn Jones as the powerful martial artist with a fist that's ready to strike an enemy down. The image was shared by the Marvel show's official Twitter account, but it isn't the only picture making the rounds on the internet. Interestingly, photos of Jon Bernthal filming for "The Punisher" solo series are pretty popular right now.

The timing may have simply been coincidence, but that hasn't stopped fans from speculating that Jon Bernthal might actually be shooting scenes for "Iron Fist". Some believe that although the actor is currently filming for "The Punisher" solo series, Frank Castle could turn up to give Danny Rand a helping hand. Or could The Punisher show up to just tease on his own show's debut? Will their possible team up prepare everyone for what is bound to happen in "The Defenders"?
Catch Finn Jones as Danny Rand in "Iron Fist", which will premiere on Netflix on March 17, 2017. Jon Bernthal's "The Punisher" solo series is expected to debut sometime next summer.
