Dolph Ziggler and The Miz will be squaring off this Sunday for Smackdown Live's pay-per-view "No Mercy." To add more intrigue, the match will be for The Miz's WWE Intercontinental belt and surprisingly, for "The Showoff's" career.
No Escaping The Steel Cage at 'No Mercy'
Another added stipulation to the already controversial match in "No Mercy" is that it will take place inside a steel cage. The factor of Maryse, getting involved illegally in her husband, The Miz's title matches has been taken out of the equation.
However, there are no rumors or reports stating that WWE is planning to put the Intercontinental belt on Dolph Ziggler in "No Mercy." Which leads to the speculation that Dolph Ziggler will not be renewing his contract, and putting the storyline of him leaving the company for real.
'The Showoff' Will End In 'No Mercy'
It's not a secret that Dolph Ziggler's contract will expire by the end of this month and there is a ton of reason to believe that "The Showoff" might as well take his talents somewhere else. According to the wrestling fansite Four3Four, "there's a lot of belief that he will not resign with the company after stating that he would love to one day go and work in another promotion, Ring of Honor to be specific."
Dolph Ziggler would not have any problems finding a new home to showcase his wrestling skills that's for sure. With recent talents being released by the WWE namely Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow which is now known as Aron Rex quickly finding a new employer with TNA Impact Wrestling, could this be the last time we're seeing "The Showoff" in the WWE?
