The director of "Thor: Ragnarok" has just shared a cheeky image on Instagram that played on Korg sharing a name with a popular brand of synthesizers. "Watch this space," Taika Waititi wrote before adding the hashtag "#Ragnarok". The post caused fans to speculate that Korg will play a key role in the MCU flick despite being smashed to pieces in "Thor: The Dark World". Does this mean the Kronan will be in Sakaar to make sure The Hulk and Thor manage to escape Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster?

Korg Appearance Reveals 'Thor: Ragnarok' Will Touch On 'Planet Hulk' Storyline, Alliance With The Hulk And Thor Confirmed?
There have been speculations that the MCU flick will touch on the "Planet Hulk" comics storyline. In the comic books, Korg was exiled to Sakaar after being defeated by Thor. When The Hulk ends up in the planet, the Kronan was one of the gladiators that helped him rebel against the Red King. "Thor: Ragnarok" is expected to replace the villain with the Grandmaster, who will be portrayed by Jeff Goldblum.
"Thor: Ragnarok" also stars Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Cate Blanchett as Hela and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie. The film is scheduled for release on November 3, 2017.
