"Fuller House" fans get a very great news as Netflix revealed that the new season of the hit family sitcom will begin airing on Dec. 9. The popular streaming network (Netflix) announced as soon as the actress Candace Cameron Bure, who plays the role of Dr. D.J. Tanner Fuller, slip the good news on ABC's "The View." It was also added that the new season will run 13-full episodes.
Additionally, Netflix also released the official poster for the upcoming season of "Fuller House" which displays a picture of bigger and happier family. It was also announced that the new season will be holiday-themed, featuring episodes for season Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year's Eve and more to watch out for, Yibada reported.
Under the creation of Jeff Franklin, the "Fuller House" follows the story of a widowed mother, D.J. Tanner-Fuller, who is a veterinarian. After the issue between her husband, D.J. accepts the offer of her own sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (played by Andrea Barber to move in and gets help in raising her 3 sons.
This new season also to watch out for is that Stephanie will get a new boyfriend named Jimmy. Further details about this Jimmy was being kept hidden except that he is a good-looking musician.
Meanwhile, the "Fuller House" Season 2 will re-introduce the most favored character, Nelson, however with a new face to be seen. The original role of Nelson was portrayed by Jason Marsden which acts as DJ Tanner's ex-boyfriend on "Full House," EW reported.
For the new season, the "Queer as Folk" star Hal Sparks will take over the role, confirmed by EW. It was not yet known the story behind Nelson, aside from the fact that he is D.J's ex-boyfriend. In a Twitter video posted on August, writers tried their very best to make Marsden back to the show and continue the role but he decided to decline with the reason he didn't provide. "Fuller House" Season 2 should be watched out for this December.
