"The Sims 4: City Living" DLC is one of the most awaited expansions for Nov. There are reports circulating online that "The Sims 4" will have a holiday version, all for free in the name of Christmas. Will EA Games give the players something to look forward in the upcoming holiday season?
"The Sims 4: Day Of The Dead"
Remember Jasmine Holiday, the bringer of all good things in "The Sims?" Well, she's back and this time around, she's offering goodies in line with the upcoming day of the dead. Jasmine Holiday will be lurking around "The Sims 4" from Oct. 4 - Nov. 4.
Sims will have to collect Sugar Skulls that they encounter along the way to get goodies and eventually unlock Halloween-related surprises in "The Sims 4." The first item Jasmine Holiday will gift the Sims is a Sugar Skull display case where Sims can place the Sugar Skulls that they have collected.
Friends With The Grim Reapers
All in the spirit of Halloween, the Sugar Skull display case acts a a buffer for the Sims to establish rapport with the Grim Reaper in "The Sims 4." As weird as it may seem, establishing a healthy and happy relationship with the Grim Reaper will not only benefit the players' Sim, but other Sims as well.
When the relationship between a Sim and the Grim Reaper is already established, the said Sim's chance of saving the life of another Sim will increase in "The Sims 4." A Sim which considers the Grim Reapers as his or her buddy can negotiate with the Grim Reaper when the call of death arrives.
"The Sims 4" Free Halloween Goodies
The celebration for Day Of The Dead is also commemorated in the Sims available wardrobe. Hairstyles, makeup, decorations, furniture and accessories are adorned in Halloween theme in the latest patch of "The Sims 4." The Day Of The Dead celebration ends on Nov. 4.
