All hell will break loose in "Fast As The Furious 8" as Charlize Theron joins the cast and dubbed as the most evil villain to hit the franchise.
Michelle Rodriguez Needs More Girls
Michelle Rodriguez, who plays the role of Letty, has expressed her desire for the franchise to cast more women. She is noticeably one of the two recurring female characters in the franchise (the other woman plays Paul Walker's wife). According to International Business Times, Michelle Rodriguez wants to up the ante for women in "Fast And The Furious 8."
Although Charlize Theron cast as the major villain in "Fast And The Furious 8" might be the answer to Michelle Rodriguez' clamor for more woman characters in the movie, she emphasized that positive roles should've been given to women. If there's going to be a "Fast And The Furious 9," Michelle Rodriguez might lobby for new actresses playing kick-ass roles in the movie.
Charlize Theron will play the role of Cipher and she is coined to be the meanest and most powerful villain in "Fast And The Furious" history. Rodriguez said that she needs more feminine energy surrounded by women on the good side. She really gets serious pushing for girl power, right?
