Mahershala Ali revealed that he won't be reprising his role as Remy Danton in the coming "House of Cards" Season 5. The 42-year-old star has been seen for the past four years as the former Chief of Staff of the President. However, in "House of Cards" Season 4, he finished his career by leaving the politics, as per The Independent.
"I think 'House of Cards' has opened [my career] up for me. I just did my last season of 'House of Cards,' I'm no longer on the show," Mahershala Ali told the publication. "Because of our conversations and being able to contractually move out of that series, I've been able to take advantage of other opportunities and get a sense of what was available for me out there." Unfortunately, the "Luke Cage" actor is not the only one who will bid his goodbye in "House of Cards" Season 5.
