But just as fans are getting themselves ready for "Prison Break" Season 5, a new report claims that the next season may be the last for the show. Michael Scofield himself, Wentworth Miller shared his thoughts regarding the alleged official exit of "Prison Break" in our TV screens.
Entertainment Weekly reported that the series creator Paul Scheuring has already confirmed back in July that "Prison Break" Season 5 is definitely the last installment for the beloved series. Paul Scheuring explained that the nine episodes of "Prison Break" Season 5 will give finality to the whole story. He also added that it was never his intention to make more seasons after "Prison Break" Season 5, he firmly shared that this is it for the show.

But just as the creator is ready to move on from the show after "Prison Break" Season 5, Wentworth Miller is hoping that this is not the end. The "Prison Break" Season 5 star is encouraging fans to not lose hope for there may still be a chance for another revival. "There's always room for more, in my mind. As long as it's a story that's worth telling, as long as it feels justified and cool and edgy," Wentworth Miller told Digital Spy. "It has to be something that's not going to let the fans down, that's going to satisfy and surprise. I'm open to the conversation."
