The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 apparently exists, despite failing to appear at the recent Xiaomi event in Beijing. Prior to the announcement of the Xiaomi Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus, rumors online suggested that, the Mi 5 series may not be announced, but instead, the Mi Note 2. Apparently, the rumor was wrong and the Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus came to light.
Now, with just weeks apart, reports reveal that, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will arrive soon. Microblogging Weibo recently teased what looked like the rear of the alleged Mi Note 2. With dual rear facing camera's, there's not much to say about the device, or even confirms that it's actually the Mi Note 2.
It can't be considered as the rear end of the Mi 5S as the recently launched Xiaomi phone has a dual rear camera that features one on top of the other. The image from Weibo shows a dual camera that is strategically placed side by side.
Meanwhile, like how Xiaomi remained quiet on their previous devices, the alleged Mi Note 2 is also quiet on their part. No new, no confirmation and fans are left to speculate, this new images that went online are for the Mi Note 2.
However, some few leaked specs of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 revealed a 5.7-inches display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. It also has a 6GB RAM and a rumored 128 - 256 GB internal storage. The primary camera is said to have a 16MP megapixel capacity and 5MP megapixel for the secondary camera. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is also expected to pack 4000 mAh of battery capacity.
