"The Sims 4" continues to receive updates that would make the game all the more interesting. "City Living" has already been confirmed as the latest expansion yet to be released this year, but before that Electronic Arts has provided a quick update for the game.
SimGuru Drake has posted an announcement on the Sims Community forum about the release of the new update that will be appropriate for Halloween. The new "The Sims 4" game update features new stuff, decors and even a recipe to celebrate the Day of the Dead. Players' Sims can enjoy several new outfits via in Create a Sim that should coincide with the event. Female Sims can sport a new hairstyle while the males can wear a new hat. Both Sims also get to have a new design of full clothing and Day of the Dead face makeup. Children can also join in the celebration as they will also have the face makeup and full body outfit.
There are also new objects that your Sims can use to adorn their homes with. As stated in the post, the items should pop up when players key in "Day of the Dead" on the search bar in the Buy Mode. "The Sims 4" Day of the Dead update also introduces a new recipe - Pan de Muerto - for your Sims.
Meanwhile, Electronic Arts has been regularly updating the details of the upcoming expansion "City Living." Just recently, a quick tour of the new city in the expansion, called San Myshuno, was given to all players of "The Sims 4." It was revealed that the new city is rich in diversity. "We wanted to create a colorful melting pot inspired by different cultural canvasses," game designer Grant Rodiek wrote. Players can also let their Sims visit hot spots in San Myshuno, which include The Spice Market, The Arts Quarter, Uptown and The Fashion District.
It's going to be another exciting expansion and new content that fans can expect from "The Sims 4." While waiting for the upcoming DLC, fans can just enjoy the latest Day of the Dead update. "City Living" will be available on Nov. 4.
