Xiaomi Mi5s, the improved version of Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship has been launched during a Sept. 27 event. With invites bearing a stylish letter "S" that seems to look like a number "5" and dated Sept. 27, initial speculations hinted that the company may launch the new mobile device, including the likely revelation of its specs and price.
The new Xiaomi Mi 5s came with a 5.15-inch full HD display, similar to the Mi 5, and may likely be a pressure-sensitive screen to support the 3D Touch like feature used on iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone 6S. Xiaomi Mi5s also has the Snapdragon 821 chipset, including a quad-core processor at 2.4 GHz, while it will be powered by Adreno 530 graphics. It also came in three variants, a 4GB LPDDR4 RAM model with 128GB of storage, a 3GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64GB of storage and the 6GB LPDDR4 with 256GB of storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s has also been found listed on AnTuTu. Although it reportedly received certification in China, the smartphone it is yet to receive a certification from TENAA. There are speculations that the company is working on a new flagship that comes with top notch specs, including a dual camera on the rear side, a dual-edged curved screen and a Snapdragon 821 and 6GB of RAM, Yibada reported.
Meanwhile, another set of rumors has previously leaked regarding Xiaomi Note 2 Pro. According to reports, the specs of the upcoming device have been seen on Weibo, showing an image of a likely Mi Note 2 Pro variant that runs Android Nougat out of the box. It further claims that the device is going to be the first smartphone from the company that comes with the new Android OS.
Based on the screenshot photo, Mi Note 2 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.6GHz and may come with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Although Mi Note 2 Pro is expected to MIUI 8 with Android Nougat, Weibo states that the screenshot image could likely be a fake one.
