"Making A Murderer" Steven Avery could not get any more exciting as news spread that he is in love with Lynn Hartman, an ex-wife of a police officer. Avery and Hartman are very much in love according to Kathleen Zellner, details People.
"Making A Murderer" shows Steven Avery was convicted in 2005 for the murder of Teresa Halbach, a Wisconsin photographer who was 25 years old at the time of the incident. However, it seems that Avery was only framed for the murder because of a retaliation when he himself filed a lawsuit against Manitowoc County worth $36 million. He was convicted for rape and was sent to prison for 18 years.
From the start, Lynn Hartman believes that Steven Avery is guilty. She admits she was a fan of Nancy Grace and that she believes everything the latter says about the case and does not want to watch "Making A Murderer" anymore. It was her daughter who finally convinced her to do so.
After watching the "Making A Murderer," Lynn Hartman felt bad and decided to write a letter to Steven Avery to offer any kind of support. That was the start of their communication which Hartman felt was helping her get through a divorce with her husband who is a police officer.
Steven Avery's fiancée said the person convicted in "Making A Murderer" is not a monster that Grace made him to be. The 54 year old legal secretary from Las Vegas felt the irony of going in a relationship with someone behind bars after a divorce with a police officer. Hartman is just thankful that her daughter is very supportive of her relationship with Avery.
The family of Halbach believes that the "Making A Murderer" series is a one-sided documentary that is only focused on Steven Avery and not on the victim.
