According to Movie News Guide, the 38-year-old screenwriter is the sole idea of the political drama series. In fact, he is the one that put the show together by adapting it from the British series with the same title based on Michael Dobb's novel.
Beau Willimon framed "House of Cards" Season 5 to fit the political system in the U.S., so the citizens of America could relate. Evidently, he did a great job by applying all his knowledge in the political world and, in fact, being known in that niche. Hence, some deem that his exit will certainly affect the show and its reason for cancellation.
Frank's Death A Sign Of Cancellation?

GamenGuide reported that the role of Kevin Spacey might be killed by her wife, Claire (Robin Wright), to take his presidential seat.
