MacBook Pro 2016, which is set to be released between August and October this year, comes in different color options. According to recent reports, it has additional features such as OLED function keys, wireless charging, USB-C/Thunderbolt and touch ID fingerprint scanning.
The MacBook Pro 2016 is reportedly powered with Intel's Skylake which is the latest generation of Intel processors. According to reports, MacBook Air may be completely phased out because of the design of MacBook Pro 2016.
The MacBook Pro 2016 is thinner and lighter when compared to the dimension of MacBook Air. It will be available in gold, silver, rose and space gray colors. It is also available in 13 or 15 inch models. Apple's intelligent personal assistant may also be available in MacBook Pro 2016. Fortune also reported that the device might be released in just a few weeks time but that has been debunked as well.

Other reports suggest that MacBook Air 2016 will still be released, but the MacBook Pro 2016 will be Apple's new top of the line computer. Even Quartz is convinced that the device will come out and dominate the tech stalls.

The popularity of MacBook Pro 2016 may negatively affect the current Apple's sales, according to MacWorld. Apple has shipped 4.8 million computers in the second quarter of 2015, while in the same quarter of this year, they only shipped a total of 4.4 million computers.
That is a total of 8.3 decrease in sales which is a significant amount, while Apple's competitors such as Dell, HP and Acer has experienced at least 10 percent growth in their annual computer sales.
MacBook Pro 2016 delayed release is due to iPhone 7's release. It is expected that both MacBook Pro 2016 and iPhone 7 will no longer have the 3.5mm headphone jack and will be replaced with a wireless lightning port. It is possible that Apple will have a simultaneous launch of its latest mobile and personal computer products to improve sales.
