Amidst cancellation rumors, "Supernatural" Season 12 is happening and the Winchester brothers will be back in action. The previous season ended with a cliffhanger and fans are now excited to know what happens next. The premiere episode will be titled "Keep Calm and Carry On" and will continue the story where it left off.
It can be recalled that there was dramatic family reunion back in Season 11 when Amara (Emily Swallow), who became repentant at the end of the season, resurrected the brothers' mother Mary (Samantha Smith). The family drama is expected to be one of the highlights of "Supernatural" Season 12 as the official synopsis revealed that Dean will be stunned at the appearance of his mother.
In a teaser trailer for the upcoming season, the Winchesters' mother, Mary, was seen in action as well. She quickly embraces her former self, which is a hunter who is so good with blades. The resurrected mother is expected to help out Dean save his brother Sam (Jared Padalecki), who was captured by Men of Letters, British chapter. Fans will definitely be seeing girl power in "Supernatural" Season 12.
As for Sam, he continues to be in an awful situation. Sam will be fighting for his life in "Supernatural" Season 12 after Toni (Elizabeth Blackmore) took a shot at him. Dean is still out looking for Sam, who was revealed to be in the back of a truck, gagged and tied up. Spoilers also reveal that Sam will be tortured.
The new season not only welcomes back Blackmore and Smith but also introduces Rick Springfield. Lucifer has taken over a new body in the form of a rock star and it seems that he's enjoying tormenting Crowley (Mark Sheppard).
