The consequences of Barry Allen's actions in "The Flash" Season 2 finale will definitely catch up with him when the series returns to The CW. One of these consequences will be revealed to be a character named Julian Albert, who will be played by "Harry Potter" alum Tom Felton.
Julian appears to be just another competitive CSI who doesn't think very highly of Barry, but is it possible that there is more to him? Although there are speculations that Julian might be Doctor Alchemy, some fans believe he has closer ties to Barry. Will Julian be revealed as the alter ego of DC villain Cobalt Blue in "The Flash" Season 3?
First Look At Tom Felton's Julian Albert Pits Barry Allen Against Mysterious New CSI! Is He Really Cobalt Blue?
The CW has just released awesome new photos from the second episode of "The Flash" Season 2. The stills from "Paradox" offer a good look at Tom Felton as Julian Albert hard at work while Grant Gustin's Barry Allen stands by his desk. Although the images only confirm that Julian dislikes Barry, there are speculations that the pictures confirm a new fan theory. Do the photos reveal Julian's true identity as Cobalt Blue?

OK, there is nothing much to look at here but fans continue to believe that Tom Felton is actually playing Barry Allen's twin brother from the comic books. In the comics, Nora Allen originally gave birth to twins but one baby was given to Charlene Thawne. The boy, who was named Malcolm Thawne, eventually grew to hate Barry and became Cobalt Blue. Could "The Flash" Season 3 reveal that Julian Albert's hate for Barry is because he is actually Malcolm?
If Tom Felton Is Playing Cobalt Blue Then Things Could Go Bad For Barry Allen In 'The Flash' Season 3
The possibility that Cobalt Blue will be a part of the series could mean really bad things for Barry Allen. In the comic books, Malcolm Thawne decides to steal Barry's speed and exact revenge on all of his descendants. Hopefully, Barry will fix the timeline to save not only the world, but himself as well. "The Flash" Season 3 airs on The CW on October 4.
