Playing “Pokemon Go” on iOS was limited to fair-play and all the neat cheats and cracks were known to be available only via the Android route. A lot of that has to do with the stiff restrictions from their respective sites but Cydia may have just scored a big crack.
“Pokemon Go” ++1.3.1 hacked IPA makes cheating possible
The word out is that iOS developers have come up with a “Pokemon Go” ++1.3.1 hacked IPA which would allow players to play the augmented reality game on their devices in the same fashion that rooted devices were able to do.
With the “Pokemon Go,” ++1.3.1 hacked IPA, players can now do stuff that Android users were able to do like moving from one place to the next without leaving the walls of your own home. All this is credited to Cydia Impactor which means iOS owners don’t have to use an iOS jailbreak to cheat their way into the game.
How to use the hack
The first thing that “Pokemon Go” players have to do is delete or uninstall the current “Pokemon Go” version they have on their phone. Cydia Impactor needs to be present on the PC where the Apple device will be hooked up. For those who don’t have it, you can download it via cydiaimapctor.com.
After that, download the “Pokemon Go” ++1.3.1 hacked IPA file. Connect the device, activate Cydia Impactor and drag the IPA file to the Cydia interface. Warnings will pop up and you will be asked to key in your Apple credentials (username and password).
The next steps should be common but do remember that Niantic has been tightening up things with player bans. Going this route will get “Pokemon Go” players in trouble so applying this cheat for the sake of getting ahead of others carries pretty big risks. That said, proceed with caution!
