Casting Call For Clay In 'Nashville' Season 5
According to Entertainment Weekly, CMT held a nationwide casting call for the role of Clay, a 21 to 26-year-old African American musician coming in "Nashville" Season 5. "He is a creative, self-aware, highly motivated young man who suffers intense mood swings, but is nonetheless charming and outgoing," the network described the character. Clay plays eclectic style music with the touch of contemporary elements that also has a notch of classic black music, bluegrass and country.
Showrunners Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick revealed that Clay has a vital role in the return of "Nashville" Season 5. As the "Nashville" Season 5 executive producers are eyeing to make the show return to its original theme, they are once again producing a storyline that will feature its musical roots.
Allyson Will Help Juliette To Move On From Tragic Crash?
Meanwhile, in the last season finale, Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) was included in the tragic plane crash. Fortunately, the role of the 27-year-old star will survive the incident, but it will leave her a reminder that Juliette will never forget. "Nashville" Season 5 will continue exactly where the previous episode left off and it will show the aftermath of the accident.
As per Christian Times, Juliette will be seen in a very low phase of her life in "Nashville" Season 5 as the injuries she suffers will affect her career as a performer. With that, she has to undergo a therapy and she will be helped by the newcomer, Allyson Del Lago (Jen Richards).
