In all your years of playing Call of Duty, who would have thought that the skills you've accumulated over years could help you win a share of USD $1 million? Saddle up cowboy and girl, the Call of Duty Championship competition is on.
The competition is set to take place on April 5-7 somewhere in Hollywood. The whole thing will have 32 teams competing against each other for the coveted prize of a bag of cash along with immense bragging rights. This is the time to get your house in order, form your team, practice, and prepare to walk away with a share of $1 million.
How do you enter? Here's the thing, the top 8 teams from the MLG Winter Championship taking place in Dallas from March 15-17, will automatically be entered, 8 more teams from Europe will also get a spot after the ending of the ESL's European Finals. The final 8 seats will go to International teams across Asia, Australia, and Brazil, and ways to enter should be posted soon enough.
The other 8 teams will be drawn from other areas, so prepare yourself, you never know if your own team could be in the running to walk away with a share of $1 million. Note, the console of choice here is the Xbox 360, so if you're playing on a PS3 or PC, you and your team might not be up for consideration. You see, this is an Activision and Xbox partnership, so it is likely this competition is only for those who play on the Xbox 360.
