Stunt bike performer Chuck Greene is about to massacre more zombies as remastered version of "Dead Rising 2" sets to invade within the week. Actually, Capcom will sport triple treat for the Halloween with bundle pack consisting of the original "Dead Rising," "Dead Rising 2," and "Dead Rising 2: Off the Record."
"Dead Rising 3" seems to be literally dead after failing to make it through the bundle but expect better gameplay in the fourth iteration which is months away from release. So forget 4 and start with what are at hand right now, "Dead Rising 2" presents the opportunity to relive the PlayStation experience.
What makes "Dead Rising 2" a smash hit in 2006 were challenges fighting and obliterating hordes of zombies, Push Square said. In fact, even movie makers shamelessly copied the concept of setting the protagonist in a mall while zombies are shopping everywhere. Chuck Greene has to scrub for perfect weapons and anything that can do damage to survive.
So the saga continues in "Dead Rising 2" where mall scavenging Greene rose to the ranks of heroes with digital remaster. Then another character Frank West enters the scene while using his journalistic skills investigating the root of zombie mayhem. So "Dead Rising 2" stage is now set for legal massacre - is killing undead a crime anyway?
iTech Post described the fun part about "Dead Rising 2" and they zoomed in to customizability of characters. What tickles the interest is limitless potential of weapons combo where gamers can exhaust mall items to create fancy weapons. Expect more combinations in remastered version because this is one feature that Capcom taunts.
Oh, just to remind that "Dead Rising 2" was infamous for being a hell game. Zombies might look dumb and easy kill but the game proved otherwise. That is why multiplayer option is now available so gamers can flock together for better killing efficiency. Even so, zombie bosses will still kick the gamer's ass so strategy should be employed.
