There is less than a month left before "The Walking Dead" Season 7 premieres in October but fans still can't stop talking about the jawdropping cliffhanger from the previous season finale. Just who was it that Negan decided to kill in "Last Day on Earth"? The answer may have been hidden in the episode itself but some viewers were not able to spot the clues. Is it possible that the identity of Negan's victim was already hinted on in "TWD" Season 6 Episode 16?

There are so many possibilities on who it was that Negan picked as "the best one" (because eenie-meenie) and fans have all have their theories. The thing is, most of these choices are based on which character would have the most devastating effect on Rick and the rest of the group. On the other hand, some believe that "TWD" Season 6 was already hinting on Negan's victim. So did the season finale offer a glaring clue to his identity before the show even makes it to "The Walking Dead" Season 7?

'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Prediction: Did Negan Kill Aaron Instead Of Glenn?

Remember when the group was preparing to leave Alexandria to bring Maggie to Hilltop in "Last Day on Earth"? Everyone spoke to Rick to announce they will come along. Aaron also decided to go despite Rick's protests and ended up being one of the characters who had to kneel in front of Negan. Will it be revealed that Aaron made a bad decision of tagging along in "The Walking Dead" Season 7?

There are speculations that Aaron will be Negan's kill because the character is not part of the group that ended up facing the villain in the comic book. However, almost EVERYONE in the current group are not even supposed to be there (Negan captures Rick, Michonne, Carl, Glenn, Maggie, Heath and Sophia in "Something To Fear"). Although this does not narrow down the possibility of Aaron getting the bat in "The Walking Dead" Season 7, there are still other clues in "TWD" Season 6.

GamenGuide has previously reported on the hint that Aaron could be Negan's kill in "TWD" Season 6 Episode 5. The character suggested naming Maggie's baby after him after she tells him she is pregnant. Although it isn't a clear indication that Aaron will be Negan's victim in "The Walking Dead" Season 7, it is still enough reason to fear for the character when the series premieres on October 23.
