"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is producing surprises after surprises even when the game is just about to hit shelves in October. The game is getting bigger and better and fresh details have revealed how big the game is going to be.
The earlier "Xenoverse" had 47 playable characters and five more were introduced in the DLC. However, recent reports have confirmed a "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" character count of 87 with 68 of them playable.
Moreover, with the addition of extra challenging co-operative modes, it seems "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is going to be big in terms of content. The challenging co-operative modes allow players and their friendsto take on things such as a Great Ape, reports Forbes.
Fundamentally, the game hasn't changed much though it is absolutely clear that the Dimps team is building on the greatness of the game. This has made "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" more polished.
Bandai Namco and Dimps are hell-bent in building on the success of "Xenoverse" that went on to sell more than two million copies. They are doing their best to make "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" as comprehensive as possible. It's quite a deal that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" doesn't have to cater for the latest consoles and that means Dimps may optimize Unreal Engine 4 for the current gaming hardware.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is slated to release on Oct. 25 in the US and Oct. 28 in Europe for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Gamers are trying to find out if the game has any narrative connection with "Dragon Ball Super" that is only available in Japan currently. The story crossover could be an issue.
As per Saiyan Island, Rasberry, Videl, Ice Shenron, Hercule, Nuova Shenron and Frieza are not returning in the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" game's initial release.
