The future is becoming bleak for Ragnar Lothbrok in "Vikings" Season 4 Episode 11. There are speculations that the king of Kattegat will not survive for long when the series returns in November. However, it's beginning to look like Ragnar might be one of the first characters who will get killed off in the second half of "Vikings" Season 4. After all, the trailers and promos for the show have confirmed that Ragnar will be dead before "Vikings" Season 5.
Will Ragnar Lothbrok Die In 'Vikings' Season 4 Episode 11?
It's highly unlikely that Ragnar Lothbrok will meet his end immediately, since the Comic-Cono trailer shows he will still have time to speak to his son Ivar the Boneless. However, the same teaser for "Vikings" Season 4B also shows Ragnar being led into what looks like a cage.
GamenGuide has already reported about the possibillity that Ragnar will be captured by King Aelle of Northumbria, who will leave him to die in a pit of snakes. In addition to that, the shorter promo for "Vikings" Season 4 Episode 11 offers more hints that the series will move on without Ragnar.
Ragnar Lothbrok's Sons Join Rollo In Battle In 'Vikings' Season 4 Episode 11 Teaser, But Where's Ragnar?
A teaser for "Vikings" Season 4 Episode 11 shows more glimpses of a huge battle featuring Ragnar Lothbrok's sons as well as Rollo. However, there is no sign of Ragnar in any of the battle scenes. This is highly unlikely since the king of Kattegat is not one to back down from a fight so there has to be a bigger reason why he hasn't joined his sons. It is possible that Ragnar's sons are leading the army because Ragnar is already dead.
Do you think Ragnar Lothbrok will be killed right after "Vikings" Season 4 Episode 11? Will he die in the first few episodes when the series returns? Let us know in the comments.
