The favorite political satire comedy series concluded in June and as it stars graced Emmy Awards 2016, fans are expecting to hear new details in the coming "Veep" Season 6. However, although there is nothing much said about the much-awaited TV series, Tony Hale, who plays the role Gary Walsh, teased what fans could expect.
Tony Hale Hints 'Chaotic Things' Happening In 'Veep' Season 6
In an interview with TVLine, Tony Hale revealed that he heard that "chaotic things" are about to happen in "Veep" Season 6. "It's post-presidency. With that comes a lot of breaking down and anxiety [for Selina & Co.]... Gary is probably losing his mind," the 45-year-old star said. "It's kind of opening up a whole new world of 'What do these people do after they were president of the United States?'" The actor-comedian went on to explain that after the event, they may have the hard time to act like themselves again.
'Veep' Season 6 To Focus On Selina Meyer?
HBO Binge reported that there is nothing much said about "Veep" Season 6 as everyone keeps mum about it, but it is indeed under development. In fact, Tony Hale even hinted that the new installment will focus mainly on Selina Meyer's (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) life now that she has to leave the White House. "Veep" has yet to start its production, but HBO has a lot of new shows to release that will replace the comedy series created by Armando Iannucci's premiere.
HBO is about to reveal "Divorce," "Insecure" and the now airing "High Maintenance," but, of course, fans are still craving for "Veep" Season 6. They say nothing from it has the same forte like the much-loved political satire series. "Veep" Season 4 and 5 were released in the spring, while "Veep" Season 1 and 2 were out in June. Thus, many expect the new episodes will come in the spring of 2017 on HBO.
