There's a lot of buzz surrounding the upcoming update for "Minecraft"'s Windows 10, Gear VR, Pocket versions of the sandbox video game from Mojang. The upcoming update will finally bring to the table boss battles, something that fans have been looking forward to.
According to IGN, the boss update is arriving to the Windows 10, Gear VR, Pocket versions of "Minecraft" on October 18. This will include several boss battles, such as the battle with the Wither, the Elder Guardian, and the Ocean Monuments. What's more is that gamers will now be allowed to edit text files to further customize the game for a unique experience.
This customization via editing of text files will be available through the Add-Ons which will arrive along with the boss battle update for "Minecraft" Windows 10, Gear VR, Pocket versions. Gamers will be allowed to tweak the AI, customize mobs, and customize other elements in the game. Once done, gamers can even share their customizations for other gamers to play. Fans who attended this year's E3 would remember seeing hte Alien Invasion and Castle Siege Add-Ons that were presented during the event for "Minecraft" Windows 10, Gear VR, Pocket versions. These will be available for free beginning October 18 when gamers log into the Microsoft website.
Meanwhile, Yahoo! Tech reports that gamers will also be given additional controller options once the update for "Minecraft" Windows 10, Gear VR, Pocket versions arrives on October 18. Gamers will now be able to play using the Xbox Wireless Controller via Bluetooth all while playing the Gear VR and Windows 10 editions of the game.
