Robert Zane's (Wendell Pierce) proposal to Jessica (Gina Torres) to merge their law firms plays a major role in the return of "Suits" Season 6 Winter Premiere. In an interview with executive producer Aaron Korsh, he revealed that although the latter refused the offer, it will still be a big issue.
Robert's Offer To Merge Two Law Firms
"Robert Zane is going to have to decide, and we're going to wonder: Is he going to keep this offer on the table, or is he not?" Korsh told TVLine. The reactions of Louis [Rick Hoffman] and Harvey [Gabriel Macht] to Robert's suggestion will be the main focus of "Suits" Season 6 Winter Premiere. In fact, the 49-year-old TV producer revealed that the merger of the two firms will be seen in six episodes of the coming installment.
Aaron Korsh also told Deadline that the much-loved lawyers might consider the suggestion, but as Robert is not often seen in the show, the merger may not push through. "But I'm not sure our characters would want to do that anyways, so I'll say it's unlikely that we end up merging with him," the writer added. However, he teased that fans should still wait what will happen in "Suits" Season 6 Winter Premiere as things might change.
Keeping PSL Afloat
Meanwhile, it has been known that Jessica left her post as the name partner of Pearson Specter Litt and joined Jeff Malone (D.B. Woodside) to Chicago, as per Christian Times. With that, a lot now worries how the firm will continue to develop, especially that it is still rising from the scandal Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) brought. In "Suits" Season 6 Winter Premiere, the rumors are strong that Harvey and Louis will take strong agreements to keep the company going with the help of Donna (Sarah Rafferty). "Suits" Season 6 Winter Premiere will air in January on USA Network.
