The "Dark Souls" franchise has been one of the most popular games in the scene today and a new expansion pack will be introduced for the "Dark Souls 3." The newest DLC for "Dark Souls 3" will be dubbed as "Ashes of Ariandel" and it will feature a new adventure for avid fans of the game.

The "Dark Souls 3" Ashes of Ariandel DLC was revealed in the Tokyo Game Show 2016 and Bandai Namco teased fans with a trailer shown in the event. The trailer for new game update featured a mysterious winter land that is filled with new monsters and villains.
The "Dark Souls 3" Ashes of Ariandel DLC will also be bringing new weapons, spells and armors for the new character as well. The expansion pack will have a bigger map for players to explore to and discover the dark mystery of the once beautiful place.
'Dark Souls 3' Ashes of Ariandel DLC Final Game & Installment For The Franchise?
During an interview with Polygon, the president of FromSoftware, Hidetaka Mizayaki, said that "Dark Souls 3" is going to be the final game title for the franchise. "Dark Souls 3" will have two upcoming DLCs: the "Ashes of Ariandel" and an unnamed DLC will be developed in the near future.
Hidetaka Mizayaki added that this is the right time to move away from "Dark Souls 3" and from the franchise to explore new things. The FromSoftware president added that the "Dark Souls" franchise will live on if someone from the company will have new ideas for a new installment.
Meanwhile, reports from iTect Post suggest that the "Dark Souls 3" Ashes of Ariandel DLC will focus on a gothic horror theme while the second DLC will have a vanilla theme feels. "Dark Souls: Ashes of Ariandel" will also feature improved graphics as the game has been revamped using Unreal Engine 4 with next gen lighting effects.
'Dark Souls 3' Ashes of Ariandel DLC Release Date, News & Update
