"Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" is currently in development. Creator Scott Cawthon hinted that the horror game may release on Oct. 7 2016. A new map was also teased to appear in "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location."
Cawthon stated on Steam Community on August 29 that despite his earlier plans to feature a second trailer for "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location," he will not be able to do so. He explained that providing another teaser for "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" will only show more of the game and spoil several of the in-game surprises. Cawthon continued that he understands how some fans may be upset by the news, but his decision is to keep the rest of the game quiet until October 7.
"Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" fans immediately speculated that the game will finally release on October 7. Cawthon may no longer be able to reveal more about the upcoming game either because there is no more leftover content to share, or there simply is not any available at the moment. The official website currently shows "10-7-16," further hinting that the game will launch soon. Until an official announcement is made, "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" should take the news with a grain of salt.
The BitBag noted that the latest updates about "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" surfaced early in September when Fright Dome was announced. There is a "Five Nights At Freddy's" haunted house at Fright Dome, so Cawthon invited fans and teased by saying that they will not be disappointed. A new map formed like a cross was also featured, which could be a DLC for "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location."
The map apparently showcases the Circus Gallery, Ballora Gallery and Funtime Auditorium with secret rooms, together with two control rooms, service rooms and an elevator. In "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location," players will take on the role of night shift technicians who need to survive the night while battling the scary animatronics that jump to life after the establishment closes. More updates and details on "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" are expected soon.
