Never let anyone tell you that Dutch should never be taught in grade school, because one day, it could pay off. Dutch gaming website GameKings got a hold of Rockstar Studio head, Dan Houser, who gave some insight into the next GTA game. Only problem, when they posted the information, they did it in their original Dutch.
Thankfully, some fluent fans were able to translate the tips, and posted it onto the GTA forums. Here's the deal.
- Each character approaches a mission in different ways. In one particular mission, Houser describes Michael and Trevor piloting a helicopter, while Franklin gets there on his motorbike. Gamers can switch between each character on the fly during missions, so if want to fly the whirlybird go for it. If target practice is your game, go man the guns.
- Each character is pinpointed on the map, and players can switch back and forth between them whenever they like, whether they're in the middle of a mission or not. It should offer some replayability, as well as character development, seeing where each character goes when you're not in control of them.
- Players will be able to perform heists and hijackings by following armored vans (displayed as money symbols on the map) and take the money for themselves.
- It's confirmed that both Michael and Trevor are former bankrobbers with criminal pasts. Franklin sticks with them despite the fact that he sees them as anti-role models.
- Rockstar is said to have done a lot of research on the LAPD, and San Quentin State Prison. Presumably, these real life places will have analogues within Los Santos.

Also, there's been some new art work spotted advertising pre-orders for GTA V at Game Stop, which can be seen above. You can expect it to be eventually added as wallpaper to Rockstar's gallery of art here.
Grand Theft Auto V will release worldwide in the Spring of 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A PC release hasn't been announced, though a petition is making the rounds on the internet to have the title brought to the platform. Likewise, there's similarly been no word on a release for the Wii U.
