Fans can't hardly wait to finally get their hands on "Grand Theft Auto 6." But since updates and announcements about the much-hyped game are quite limited, fans are left to wonder about what's in store for all of us. "Grand Theft Auto" is arguably one of the most popular series ever made and its popularity is the main reason why fans have been waiting patiently for "Grand Theft Auto 6." While waiting for the official details of "Grand Theft Auto 6," fans are sharing their thoughts as to what they would want to see from the franchise's sixth installment.
When GamenGuide left a hanging question about what the fans are most excited about in "Grand Theft Auto 6," one fan shared his idea. "Texas with female [protagonist] would be sick," the fan wrote in one of GamenGuide's articles about "Grand Theft Auto 6." Although a female lead would be interesting, "Grand Theft Auto 6" developers have not confirmed any speculations regarding this matter.

Another fan also expressed his excitement about "Grand Theft Auto 6" and hopes that the much-awaited game will have a Tokyo map. Normally, the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise sticks to their known territory which is the fictional county in the United States. But "Grand Theft Auto 6" is expected to expand its location and that may mean that a Tokyo map wouldn't seem so far-fetched.
In an interview back in 2013, "Grand Theft Auto 6" developer Rockstar Games' Dan Houser hinted for a possibility of the game to be taking place outside the U.S. area. “These days I think we would love to set a game in the UK, set in London, whatever, but I don’t know if it would be a GTA game," he told The Guardian. One of the "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date rumors points out to a 2018 launch. "Grand Theft Auto 6" is believed to see an official release in 2018.
But Neurogadget reported that the latest "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date rumor was based on the fact that "Grand Theft Auto" usually has a five-year gap between games. Since "Grand Theft Auto 5" debuted back in 2013, there is a high chance that "Grand Theft Auto 6" will be launched in 2018. While this "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date makes a lot of sense, just like the other speculations, Rockstar Games have not confirmed this rumor either.
