'Tom Clancy’s The Division’ Latest News & Update: What Ubisoft Hopes to Bring With Latest PTR

"Tom Clancy's The Division" Public Test Server (PTS) has finally arrived. The said PTR will help enhance the game's transition to a new server. The said server, according to reports will be the permanent home of "The Division" game.

By releasing the PTR, Ubisoft aims to give players the full potential in downloading future DLCs and other contents. Also, this will be the final testing before the game developer launches "The Division" Patch 1.4 to the public.

In the Steam Community, Ubisoft announced that, "The Division" PTR is a separate client. Meaning, players will download the PTR separately. The said PTR will have its own folder and will not merge to the current server of "The division." Players should also note that, the file is around 45GB in size.

Ubisoft's main objective in creating the new PTR is to pave way for the upcoming "The Division" Patch 1.4. But even as a standalone download, the PTR is already expected to bring massive changes and improvement in the embattled Tom Clancy game.

Massive has since announced that, the first few days of "The Division" PTR will reflect the changes in the two World Tiers. This will affect the player's characters not being able to find their way to the new server. However, Massive explained that, creation of level 30 characters will be among the activities, easiest to do.

"The Division" Patch 1.4 will arrive sometime in October and by then, the game developer hopes to have collected some feedbacks from the fans; through the new PTR server. Ubisoft hopes to regain the glory days of "Tom Clancy's The Division" by way of a new server and patch to fix their major lapses.
