It has been three years since Microsoft announced the TV adaptation of the video game series, "Halo." However, after the statement was made, there was no news about bringing the planned military science fiction onto the small screen.
Xbox Boss: 'Halo' TV Series Still 'Alive'
The only thing known about the "Halo" TV Series is it is going to be produced by Steven Spielberg. Microsoft also confirmed that it is already in the works, but it is starting to be mum about it, VG247 reported. Since then, it looks like Microsoft focus its attention on the game, but fans don't easily forget.
The Xbox boss Phil Spencer confirmed that "Halo" TV Series is still "alive" and will be in the works. The chief was asked on Twitter by a fan named Ryan McCaffrey if the television adaptation of the video game is already dead or canceled. The superior simply responded with "alive."
To recall, Showtime also confirmed in 2015 that "Halo" TV Series would push through and still under improvements, although nothing was heard from them since then. In a report made by Game Zone, the cable network's president David Nevins asserted that it is in "very active development." However, after three years, fans still haven't seen a teaser or trailer of the show or even the cast members that make them question its coming.
Microsoft Building An Interactive Studio For 'Halo' TV Series?
Meanwhile, 343 Industries also strengthened the news that "Halo" TV Series is not yet canceled and will be unveiled soon at a Q&A panel in RTX, Segment Next cited. "The basic problem before us, or the job description as I see it, is that Microsoft is going to build an interactive TV studio," Microsoft Entertainment Studios Elan Lee said. He also added that they are now in the process of building it and they, too, are excited about it. Microsoft has yet to announce the release of "Halo" TV Series.
