It seems that our suspicions about Maggie being Negan's first kill on "The Walking Dead" season 7 are true. We recently reported that Negan's first victim may survive Lucille's blow right as the show's sixth season ended earlier this year, and it seems that contrary to what most think, Maggie isn't the first to go.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Lauren Cohan had a lot to say about Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the newest cast member of "The Walking Dead" season 7. He made a big entrance with Lucille, his barbed wire laden bat during last season's finale. All evidence so far has pointed to Cohan's Maggie being Negan's first kill.
However, it seems that it isn't after all true, as the actress had a lot to say about Negan being part of the crew come "The Walking Dead" season 7. The actress admitted that while he is indeed very evil, what viewers saw was actually just the tip of the iceberg.
"It's only just beginning, really," Cohan hinted enigmatically. It seems that the speculation about Maggie being Negan's first kill is off the table. If the speculation is indeed true and that Maggie will die come "The Walking Dead" season 7 episode 1, it seems that she has a lot to say about Morgan's run as Negan.
It seems that Cohan is indeed staying put on the show and that Negan's blow was merely a fake-out, as we previously reported. Meanwhile, Tom Payne, who plays Jesus on the show, spoke to Express to warn fans that "The Walking Dead" season 7 premiere will be "graphic." Does this mean that Negan will indeed take his first victim? If it isn't Maggie, who will it be? Will Rick sacrifice himself for the sake of his crew and switch teams to save a life?
"The Walking Dead" season 7 will finally end the cliffhanger when it returns to AMC this October 23, Sunday at 9 p.m. together with newcomer and new season regular, Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays the villainous Negan.
