The "Sid Meier's Civilization 6" Anniversary Edition is set to launch in October 2016. However, game developer Firaxis revealed that the special edition of the game will only be available in limited numbers.
The official website stated that the "Civilization 6" 25th Anniversary Edition is a custom bundle, created to celebrate the incredible legacy of the popular strategy game, as well as the latest installment in the series. Pre-ordering for "Civilization 6" Anniversary Edition is already available for $89.99 and fans are advised to order now since the physical bundle will only be sold in limited quantity.
The "Civilization 6" 25th Anniversary Edition includes the full main game and all bonus digital content found in the Digital Deluxe Edition. The package also has the Aztec Civilization Pack pre-order bonus, which is an exclusive pre-order item, available only for 90 days. Afterwards, the content will be available to all game owners for free. The "Civilization 6" bundle also features a 100-page hardcover art book called "Civilization Through the Years" and an exclusive 25th Anniversary Commemorative Coin Set with Display Case. There will only be 20,000 copies of the "Civilization 6" Anniversary Edition to release for PC.
The Bonus Digital Content in "Civilization 6" features the 25th Anniversary Digital Soundtrack. Players also gain access to four post-launch DLC packs that will bring new scenarios, maps, civilizations and leaders at a discounted bundle price. Individual DLC may also become available separately. Players who buy the "Civilization 6" 25th Anniversary Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition are advised not to purchase the standalone packs, since they will be charged accordingly.
Digital Trends reported that "Civilization 6" does not require a very powerful PC to run efficiently. The game only requires a 2.5-GHz Intel Core i3 or 2.6-GHz AMD Phenom II, 1GB DirectX 11 video card like the AMD 5570 or Nvidia 450 and 4GB of RAM. "Civilization 6" players who wish to play at optimal settings will need 8GB of RAM, a fourth-generation 2.5-GHz Intel Core i5 or 4-GHz AMD FX8350, a 2GB DirectX 11 video card like the AMD 7970 or Nvidia 770. "Civilization 6" will be available on Oct. 21, 2016.
