"Pokemon Sun and Moon" is schedule for release on Nintendo 3DS soon. In the past few months, Nintendo has been revealing details about the upcoming game. Recently, a Japanese magazine showed that "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will feature Mega Evolution.
PokeLoot, a "Pokemon Sun and Moon" fan and Twitter user, shared a screenshot of an article from a Japanese magazine hinting that the game will include Mega Evolution. PokeLoot tweeted that according to the article, Jangmo-o's Soundproof ability blocks the Hyper Voice of Mega Gardevoir, thereby confirming that Mega Evolution will appear in "Pokemon Sun and Moon."
The possibility of Mega Evolution coming to "Pokemon Sun and Moon" has also been the talk among Reddit users. International Business Times writes that Jungmo-o's Soundproof Ability can apparently also block the Hyper Voice of Sylveon. Jungmo-o has Bulletproof/Soundproof Ability, although it was not stated before whether it was capable of blocking Hyper Voice until now. Mega Gardevoir's Japanese name was also stated in the Japanese magazine - Mega Sanaito. Mega Gardevoir is the mega evolution of Generation 3 Gardevoir, one of the final evolved versions of Ralts.
Before "Pokemon Sun and Moon," Mega Evolutions were initially introduced in "Pokemon X and Y." Mega Stones were first found in Kalos region, which Pokemon trainers can gather and use to activate the evolved form that goes through the usual limit of evolutions that Pokemon can ordinarily reach. Mega Evolution is generally an evolution beyond the normal evolution, allowing creatures to acquire more powerful Abilities and types as well. If the news is true, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" may showcase overpowered creatures soon.
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" was previously confirmed to feature several new Pokemon, Pokemon in Alola forms, Ultra Beasts, Legendaries and new villains. The addition of Mega Evolution would further add to the variety of creatures. "Pokemon Sun and Moon" also includes Z-Moves and new activities and features like Pokemon Refresh. "Pokemon Sun and Moon" was developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and will officially arrive on Nov. 18, 2016. More updates and details are expected soon.
