"Jurassic World 2" is the highly-anticipated continuity to the immensely successful original shown last year. As the film implies, the story takes place after the tragic events that transpired within the first three films-that, however, may not be the only tragedy to befall the fans.
Many fans of the dinosaur saga can recall the original hero of the "Jurassic Park" franchise, Alan Grant, played by the adored Sam Neill. Such existence raises the questions of many: Whatever happened to him after all that transpired in his life?
According to Cinema Blend, Neill claimed to know where Grant stayed, most likely after what occurred post "Jurassic Park 3" when he was tricked into going back to the island. Neill said that Grant has grown older and quite weary of running around for his life, happily retired and is staying in Dayton, Ohio-which might also lead to the follow-up "Jurassic World 2."
As per Movie Web, "Jurassic World 2" may no longer affiliate Grant's character with the storyline, despite what many fans may want. After the return of B.D. Wong's character, Dr. Henry Wu, some sort of light may have been shed for the second installment, but all hopes may have deteriorated after the particular announcement.
Interestingly, the adventures of Sam Neill do not end with his detachment from the "Jurassic Park" franchise, most specifically "Jurassic World 2." His co-star Jeff Goldblum who played the role of Ian Malcolm is confirmed on joining Neill in "Thor: Ragnarok," as well as director Taika Waititi of "The Hunt for the Wilderpeople."
The most confirmed details for "Jurassic World 2" involve the return of both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, with a release date of June 22, 2018. Stay tuned for more news and updates here at Gamenguide.
